NIM Lectures and Workshops Provide Food for Thought on the Future of Market Decisions
The Nuremberg Institute for Market Decisions (NIM) is a non-profit institute for research on consumer and market decisions. At the interface between science and practice, NIM examines how decisions of consumers and company decision-makers change in the face of new technological and social trends – and what the resulting impacts are. From its research, NIM generates new and relevant insights into how people can make better decisions in markets.
Practical Issues and Practical Relevance
For the practical relevance of our research, the exchange with experienced practitioners and their most important challenges and problems is essential. As a practice partner, you have various opportunities to collaborate with the NIM. This can be as a "sparring partner" in our projects, as a practice partner with a specific problem or issue, or as a practice mentor of a master's thesis or doctorate jointly supervised by a university.
Our goal is to tackle challenging problems with a societal impact, often referred to as "wicked problems" in English within the framework of problem-driven research.
How and on what Topics can we come Together?
- If you are a practitioner with a question, problem, or difficult challenge that revolves around how decisions in markets are changing as a result of new trends and technologies, and how people in markets can make better decisions, feel free to contact us;
- likewise if you are interested in the practical supervision in a master thesis or a student project;
- or if you can imagine being our "sparring partner" for your practical field on a special topic.
Please send us an e-mail to praxis@nim.org – we look forward to it.
If you do not yet have a specific topic, problem or concern, but would like to stay up to date on our results and events, we would be happy to have you subscribe to our newsletter.
