Dr. Andrea Heilmaier

Dr Andrea Heilmaier has been a member of the NIM Members' Council since July 2023.

Dr Andrea Heilmaier, who holds a doctorate in law, was elected as a professional city councillor in December 2022 and thus as the City of Nuremberg's economic and science officer and will initially take office for four years in September 2023. She previously worked as a public prosecutor at the public prosecutor's office in Nuremberg-Fürth and was appointed a judge at Fürth Local Court in 2012. Dr Heilmaier has also been an honorary city councillor for the CSU in Fürth since 2002, financial policy spokesperson since 2008 and cultural policy spokesperson for her parliamentary group since 2014. As a representative of the city, she will express the association's commitment to the Nuremberg location and support the Members' Council with her economic and legal expertise in particular.
